Eucharisma

  • A parish celebration of Christ's presence in the community of believers sharing in the Blessed Sacrament.
  • Eucharisma is found in the gifts of the earth and in the giftedness of all life.
  • Eucharisma is the power of the Spirit at work within the church to bring about healing and transformation.

The Rev. William Fickel, SSS works with FOOD FOR THE POOR toward improving the health, economic, social and spiritual conditions of the poor throughout the Caribbean.

Parish Mission

Begins with the homily at all weekend Masses. All are invited to take part in these days of prayer and in the ministry of FOOD FOR THE POOR.

The mission topics are rooted in the liturgy and personal growth in faith. Time will be given for silent adoration as the Eucharist becomes the focal point of the healing presence of Christ through, with, and in the community.

Forty Hours

Begins Friday evening with exposition and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. These are similar to parish mission. The entire parish is encouraged to participate with representative of all parish organizations included in a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, concluding with a pot luck parish dinner.

The liturgy and music ministries collaborate from the parish to prepare the worship elements during these days of celebration.
