…. be a disciple of prayer, I mean prayer which is your own: affectionate, recollected, inward, which enjoys God, feeds on God and always aspires to the mystery of truth, of the goodness of the love of God. Because a flame which comes to a halt either dies down or loses it’s light; …. the desire, the hunger, the happiness of prayer in our Lord! That would be a beautiful hearth.
