Daily Eucharistic Reflections

November 3, 2025

Today’s readings focus on the mercy of God, along with instructions for the invitation list to your next dinner party. Invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind…anyone who can’t repay you. God never asks us to do anything He has not already done.

Every single day, we are invited to a heavenly celebration that is impossible to repay. To provide this Banquet, Jesus gave his very self to become our food. To paraphrase Saint Eymard, Our Lord made a will and He became our Inheritance. He offered His mortal life to become our immortal bread. And what Bread! A bread that contains all of his graces and glory!

Do not miss this Banquet. We come crippled, lame, and blinded by our own faults and sins to be reconciled through frequent confession and a worthy Eucharistic reception. With every reception, we become less like us and more like Him. This supernatural meal allows us to be the Eucharist to everyone else in this world. To be the gracious host and lead others to the greatest gift from God – the gift of Himself.

We are now able to go out and announce to this malnourished world where to find the sublime gift of food that truly satisfies, transforms, and heals the lost, the poor, and the broken. Father Eymard understood this and spent his short life inviting everyone to the Eucharist.

The table is set with the choicest meal and the finest wine—the Bread and wine that heals ALL people. The King of kings is waiting to be celebrated!! In this sacred meal, Heaven and earth unite as God’s mercy flows through him, with him, and in him.

Time is short!! The banquet is set!

Have you sent your invitations to all in need? To everyone?

Prayer:

Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ wash me. Passion of Christ strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within thy wounds hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from Thee. From the malicious enemy, defend me. In the hour of my death, call me and bid me come to thee, that I may praise thee with thy saints and with thy angels forever and ever. Amen. (the Prayer Anima Christi)
