Keeping in Touch Met in Ecuador, Learned together in USA, Became family in Brazil!

Our Eymardian family has members throughout the entire world, and it’s always an extraordinary blessing to gather for family reunions. I’ve kept in contact with a group of Brazilians that I met at the International Eucharistic Congress in Quito, Ecuador in 2024; several of whom participated in our Saint Ann Province’s International Eymardian Family English Institute last summer at our Highland Heights SSS headquarters, and wanting to explore a new culture, experience their lives, and strengthen our Eymardian bonds, I decided to spend my vacation time visiting Brazil from April 28 – May 13 of this year.

While passing through Belo Horizonte and arriving at Sete Lagos, I was informed that all of the Eymardian family would be converging in Rio de Janeiro the weekend of May 1 -3 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the presence of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament in Brazil at the SSS church – Santuário Arquidiocesano de Adoração Perpétua for a national Eucharistic celebration.
