Letters From Saint Ann Shrine

International Priest Support Appeal

Almost 125 years ago, four Canadian men from Montreal, Quebec, Canada came to New York, New York, USA to start a new foundation of Eucharistic ministry. This dream of our founder, Saint Peter Julian Eymard, continued his vision to spread to the 4-corners of the world, beginning from his work in Paris, France, to “set the world on fire with the Eucharist.” During this time of Eucharistic Renewal in the United States, our order is posed to celebrate our own anniversary of service in the United States. We invite you to be part of the different pieces of our celebration:

  • Be an advertising-sponsor for a 125 History Book which will be published and also on our website for honoring your partnership with our ministry. (See the attached sheet for sponsor levels.) You will be sponsoring this book and the events of the year where we will acknowledge, thank and pray for your contribution.

  • Join in the celebrations throughout the country! List below are the 5 events near our current foundations where we will have a special time of presentation-talk, Mass and reception/celebration.

  • Continue the support of our seminarians (USA and Vietnamese), international priests and collaboration with our other provinces. During our anniversary year, your gift to us buys a new computer, supports the costly immigration process, assist us with health care for these men and directly benefits additional rooms for our Masaka, Uganda community that has grown large with extra men in formation to become SSS religious and ordained priests. You have been generous with our missions in the past, that helped us go to Australia, Great Britain and Ireland, the Philippines, Vietnam and Uganda. Let us continue to assist in the growing mission there and the many men in formation! (In Vietnam alone, there are 60 men studying to become priests! We pray that these men and other across the globe persevere and come to the United States to serve with us one day!

We are excited that where we serve across the United States our associates, brothers, deacon, sisters and ordained priests will join in special events. Please plan on attending our jubilee celebrations, receptions following – with details coming soon:
