10 Days and A Million Blessings in San Antonio
By Mona Grigsby-Súarez, Center for Eucharistic Evangelizing
I arrived in San Antonio on Thursday evening. I was greeted with the familiar, warm Eymardian family hospitality, as demonstrated by Father Arul Tharcius Dhairiam (from our SSS Indian Province) and Father Anthony Trang Pham (from our SSS Viet Nam Province).
Our English-language Life in the Eucharist retreat was scheduled for Saturday from 10 – 4:30, with the concluding Mass at 5:00…..[T]hose who attended all agreed the time spent together was meaningful, uplifting, and well spent. For all participants, it was their first time experiencing the LITE-specific format, and they reported liking it.
Saturday morning arrived quickly after Friday evening’s Holy Hour’s extended blessings, and now we were more experienced and ready to share another LITE encounter with persons who speak Spanish. The content was the same as the previous Saturday’s, apart from the songs and, of course, the language!
